The automatic tracing pulse generator AG-114 is designed to create propagating signals (vibrations) in the routes of hidden communications with the active method of tracerouting. The device creates an alternating sinusoidal current in the studied communication (constantly or in short-term parcels) necessary to determine its location.

Features of the AG-114 generator
The selected output power (5 W at 1...1000 ohms, 10 W at 1...500 ohms, 20 W at 1...250 ohms) is issued automatically. The ability to work on such high load resistances allows you to trace very extensive communications. Low power provides energy saving and small "readjustments" to neighboring objects, high power provides a high range of broadcast and detection.

Three generation modes:

pulse – the main high-efficiency mode with high intelligibility against interference;
continuous – an additional low-cost mode for short-term special measurements;
three–frequency mode, which provides the selection of the optimal frequency on a remote receiver without switching the transmitter (generator).
Three generation frequencies: 512 Hz, 1024 Hz, 8928 Hz. Lower frequency – less "readjustment" to neighboring objects, higher frequency – higher detection range.

Unusually compact (190x140x80 mm), for such a high output power (20 W), the autonomous design is provided by the use of highly efficient technology "CLASS D (BD)" (pulsed output power amplifier with an efficiency of 80%). As a result, one small-sized autonomous battery with a capacity of only 2.2 Ah provides pulse generation for >5 hours at maximum output power (20 watts).

It is possible to work with "recharge" from the charger or increase capacity by connecting an external battery to increase the time resource.

The control and display system, which contains only 4 large keyboard switches and 2 LEDs with specific signatures and symbols ("intuitive interface") and is not overloaded with unnecessary, for automatic devices, fine-tuning organs and indicators of numerical parameter values, is designed for convenient operation in the field. The device does not require constant supervision, parameter monitoring, frequent operational switching and is designed to work on the principle of "turned on and went to the track". In case of significant changes in the load resistance (communication) during generation, the device is automatically reconfigured ("repeated auto-negotiation").
