Cover plates for analysis by the KATO method are designed to cover a slide with biomaterials. The products are made of hydrophilic cellophane, it helps to avoid evaporation of moisture from the sample. Painting technique: Kato plates: plates of hydrophilic cellophane are immersed in a Kato mixture so that they fit together (3-5 ml of Kato solution per 100 plates). After 24 hours, they are ready for use. The finished plates can be stored in a Kato solution in a well-sealed container at room temperature for 6 months.
