The stirrer can mix at speeds up to 1500 rpm and heat up to +550 °C. The working platform is made of stainless steel, and the top covering is made of chemically resistant refractory glass (glass ceramics). The heated magnetic stirrer PL-HR-Steps has expanded functionality compared to the Basic modification. The Steps modification allows users to create and run their own special programs based on a graph of temperature and rotation speed versus time. The user can create a program by specifying a set of parameters for each step, including step duration, set temperature and rotation speed. The program subsystem provides flexible control of the heating and mixing process. The main functionality of the subsystem includes: • number of program steps from 1 to 5; • maximum step duration up to 990 minutes; • possibility of manual control control during program execution; • ability to run 1 program (heating/rotation). The PL-HR-Steps stirrer does not support "Gentle heating" modes. The user selects temperature, speed and time settings using two round knobs.
