Electronic diaphanoscope YANTAR
The principle of operation of the electronic diaphanoscope YANTAR is to assess the vitreousness of the image obtained using a digital camera. The vitreous value is calculated using a software-implemented algorithm using special calibration equations.
The analysis time is 1 minute.
Automation of the vitreous assessment avoids the error associated with the subjective opinion of a specialist.
The use of specially developed calibration standards based on optical filters for uniform adjustment of diaphanoscopes permits to coordinate the operation of two or more devices remotely.
The interlaboratory error in determining the vitreousness on the devices included in the network does not exceed the standard.
All the results of the determination of the vitreousness of wheat with the corresponding grain images are stored in the archive. If necessary, specialists can print the protocols of the current or any of the previous definitions.
THE ALGORITHM OF OPERATION:
1. Pour the grains into the cassette and close the lid made of transparent glass.
2. Install the cassette in the diaphanoscope.
3. Launch the program.
4. Choose a product
5. Software processing of the digital image of grains in accordance with the selected product
6. Calculation of computer results.
In 2023, a new national standard GOST R "Wheat. Determination of vitreousness by optical-computer method".
